Busy, Busy, Busy

Busy is how I have been this past year. Sorry I haven't blogged in quite awhile. Thanks to Jacob for keeping things up for me. We have been busy with Football, Soccer, Relief Society, Young Men, Work, Canning, Cleaning, and various other activities, that have pulled our family in five hundred different directions. I am sure that everyone of you has the same story. We will have pictures of the boys playing in their various sports soon so keep a look out for them. Karen

She's a hunter!!!!

You won't believe what just happened!! Our mom told John to open the window for the cat to come in. Well, she came in with a little BABY RABBIT IN HER MOUTH!!!!!! I screamed like a little 5 year old girl!! Our mom told John to go get the camera. We had to keep the cat from nibbling at the baby rabbit's flesh!!Our cat has never eaten anything this big. Well our mom took the picture and it looked a little like this. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen!!

We saw the new Harry Potter movie

Our family saw the Harry Potter movie and it was packed!!!! Our show that we saw was at 4:30 and we got their at the previews. Our family didn't get to sit together because their was litlle patches of open seats and nobody would move in! Well, the movie was really funny. I think it was better than the book personally. After that we went to Applebees. The first thing our dad said as we pulled in was that the nachos were the best. We had a good dinner then left for home.

This is the scene from the edge of Harpers Ferry looking into the Potomac. I don't think we got the rafters or swimmers in this picture but there were alot of them out there enjoying the cool water.
All the boys look like the are having a good time, except for the one on the end who was feeling a little under the weather during the whole trip.

We're Back!

We actually changed plans and also went to Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry! It was awesome to see the landmarks and learn about the history at those places.

Grandma and Grandpa Walking near Jefferson Memorial.
This is where Grandma and Grandpa lived in Washington D.C. When they were young married people with small children.
This is there apartment Minus the Satalite dish. A really nice man helped us find the apartment building when we were lost.

This is from our trip last year to Washington D.C. and it is hopefully one of many that we will be making to different places each year. It may hinge on what happens with the decisions made in that house behind them.

For all of those who can't see our picture in full view mode...we hope this is a better shot for you. Even funny faces are cute sometimes.
Karen loves this picture and went to great lengths to get the boys to pose for her. John apparently thought it took too long and Jacob just wanted to shield his eyes from the sun. James seems to be the happiest one with it all.
We thought waiting for Old Faithful would take a lot longer than it did. Maybe that was due to the fact that we arrived just a few minutes before it was time to release some steam. Boy weren't we lucky. The boys found a nice log to sit on and made themselves right at home.
After spending most of the Yellowstone tour in the van, the boys and Jason found a spot almost on top of the world, and got out and enjoyed the view. It was very windy and was very exciting for us. Karen decided to take the safe way out and stayed in the car. She was a little bit nervous about how high we were and spent the next few minutes on the way down the mountain hiding her head and hyerventilating.
The Rexburg temple. This wasn't there when Karen and I were there and we both said that things have really changed in what used to be a really small quiet town.
